Mame Goor - The Making of a Djembe (BLACK ROCK 40, DAK’ART 2022)

Developed during Ndoumbe’s residency at Black Rock Senegal, the installation is an archive of 120mm images of Mame Goor, woodworker from Guediawaye in Senegal, while he constructs a djembe. Unique silver gelatin prints presented with soundscape shown on exhibit as part of la biennale de DAK’ART, curated by Kehinde Wiley for Black Rock 40, 2022.
